The nose is complex with aromas of peaches, stewed quince, Honey Suckle, hazelnuts and hints of butterscotch. The wine has a structured, well rounded palate, very well-balanced tannins and acids with the fruit following through with great length to a memorable finish.

On the nose this wine shows great citrus aspects and winter melon notes with some light toasted brioche in the back ground. Tangerine fruit and citrus blossom fragrances are apparent, with hints of vanilla pod and almond flakes.

This blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with its delicate salmon colour shows an abundance of fresh summer fruits on the nose of pear, strawberry and cranberry. The fruit follows on the palate and the crisp acidity leaves a clean finish.

The grapes for this wine were selected from vineyards on the low- lying, south-facing slopes. The soil moisture levels of this particular vineyard ensured small berries with an excellent skin-to-fruit ratio providing an intense colour and flavour spectrum.
